Dr. Richard I. Chang is a cornea specialist at Graystone Eye who diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions affecting the cornea and anterior segment of the eye. He specializes in corneal transplants, small incision cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, and the management of external eye diseases. Dr. Chang also provides medical treatment for glaucoma and offers comprehensive primary eye care, including thorough eye examinations and prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Dr. Chang is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds affiliations with Catawba Valley Medical Center. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He completed his medical education at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, followed by advanced fellowship training in corneal and external disease at the University of Rochester.
