Dr. Jeremy Bonkowske

Dr. Jeremy J. Bonkowske is an ophthalmologist at Morganton Eye Physicians, providing comprehensive eye care and specialized treatment for corneal disorders, external eye diseases, and refractive surgery. He offers advanced surgical and medical management for a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. With a focus on refractive surgery, he helps patients achieve improved vision through laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK.

Dr. Bonkowske graduated from the University of Missouri and completed his residency at Wake Forest University, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery at the Dean McGee Eye Center at the University of Oklahoma. Since joining Morganton Eye Physicians in 2011, he has been dedicated to providing high-quality eye care to patients in western North Carolina.
