Dr. Richard Beatty

Dr. Richard F. Beatty is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who recently joined Ginsberg Eye after a long and distinguished career. With over 45 years of experience, he brings subspecialty training in cornea and external eye diseases, uveitis, and refractive surgery to his practice.

Dr. Beatty has cared for patients in a variety of settings, including private practice in Denver, Colorado, as an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado, and at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. He has also contributed to the field through research published in journals such as the American Journal of Ophthalmology and by presenting on advancements in eye surgeries and disorders.

His extensive training includes a residency in ophthalmology and two fellowships, one in international ophthalmology with Project Orbis and another in corneal and external diseases. His international work has taken him to countries such as Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Nepal, and China.
