Meet Dr. Reid Turner
About Me
Dr. Reid P. Turner is a board-certified, fellowship-trained corneal specialist who helps patients improve vision and comfort through advanced cornea, cataract, and refractive care. He performs cataract surgery (including laser-assisted options), LASIK, and corneal transplant procedures, and he treats complex corneal conditions such as Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus.
Dr. Turner earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa in 2012. He completed ophthalmology residency training at the Storm Eye Institute in Charleston, South Carolina, where he served as chief resident and received the Valloton Award for Academic Excellence. He then completed a fellowship in corneal transplant and refractive surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Turner has also been involved in volunteer efforts to expand access to sight-restoring care, including providing corneal transplant surgery during a medical mission trip.
