About Me
Dr. Ravi R. Pandit is a fellowship-trained, board-certified retina specialist who cares for patients with diseases of the retina and vitreous. He provides both medical and surgical treatment, focusing on careful diagnosis and clear guidance for conditions that can threaten vision, from chronic retinal disease to urgent retinal problems.
He completed ophthalmology residency training at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins and pursued advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Pandit also holds an MPH, supporting a comprehensive approach to patient care and outcomes.
In addition to managing complex retinal disease, Dr. Pandit has a special interest in surgical retina and ophthalmic trauma. Patients can expect thoughtful counseling on options such as intraocular injections, retinal laser procedures, and vitreoretinal surgery when appropriate, with an emphasis on preserving vision and long-term eye health.
