Dr. Natalia Morales is an ophthalmology fellow who combines meticulous surgical training with a warm, reassuring bedside manner. Her interests span cataract and refractive surgery, corneal disease, and glaucoma care, and she contributes to ongoing clinical research that brings the latest advances to the exam room. Dr. Morales earned her undergraduate degree at Yale University and her medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed internship and ophthalmology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University, where she received recognition for clinical and surgical excellence. Now at Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, she partners closely with patients and referring doctors to deliver thoughtful, evidence-based care with clear next steps.

Dr. Elizabeth Chiang is an oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeon who focuses on eyelid and periocular procedures that restore function and enhance appearance. She performs upper and lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair for droopy eyelids, brow lift procedures, and correction of eyelid malposition such as entropion and ectropion. Her practice also includes eyelid lesion removal, complex reconstruction after Mohs surgery or injury, tear duct procedures, and office-based treatments like Botox and filler injections. Dr. Chiang earned her undergraduate degree from the California Institute of Technology and completed MD/PhD training in neuroscience through the Medical Scientist Training Program at Case Western Reserve University. She completed ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University and a two-year oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She brings a careful, detail-oriented approach designed to help patients feel comfortable and confident in their care.

Dr. Daniel Terveen is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in refractive cataract surgery, advanced corneal disease treatment, glaucoma care, and laser vision correction. During residency at the University of Iowa, Dr. Terveen earned top resident and research awards and helped launch quality-improvement initiatives that streamlined cataract care for veterans. He continues that spirit of innovation at Vance Thompson Vision, where he serves as a principal investigator in FDA-monitored clinical trials and has published and presented on topics including complicated cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and clinic efficiency. Outside the operating room, he enjoys time with family, cooking, reading, and staying active.
