Dr. Ravi Chundru

Dr. Ravi K. Chundru is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been in private practice in Houston for over 20 years. A native Houstonian, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin before pursuing medicine. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 1997 and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.

Dr. Chundru practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on cataract surgery and eyelid surgery. He offers advanced lens implant options, including multifocal and toric lenses, to address patients' vision needs. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Harris County Medical Society, and has served on the board of the Houston Ophthalmological Society.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chundru is dedicated to community service. He runs nonprofit eye clinics at Healthcare for the Homeless and the Indian Doctors Charity Clinic, providing charitable eye care to those in need.
