About Me
Dr. Anam A. Mazharuddin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and native Houstonian who provides comprehensive eye care with special interests in cataract surgery, dry eye, glaucoma, and refractive procedures. She enjoys partnering with patients to tailor treatment plans—whether optimizing vision with advanced cataract lens options, addressing ocular surface disease, or discussing candidacy for LASIK. Patients appreciate her clear explanations, attention to detail, and commitment to long-term eye health for the entire family.
Dr. Mazharuddin graduated from Rice University with a degree in bioengineering and earned her medical degree from UT Health San Antonio, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed an ophthalmology residency at UT Medical Branch in Galveston, receiving the Silver Scalpel Award for Best Surgical Resident. An enthusiastic contributor to clinical research, she has presented at national meetings and published across multiple journals. Dr. Mazharuddin is fluent in Urdu and Spanish and looks forward to caring for patients in the Spring–Klein community.
