About Me
Dr. Ramzi K. Hemady is an associate professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He has been involved in refractive surgery since 1991. His clinical interests include corneal surgery, cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation, refractive surgery, uveitis, and ocular immunology. He also has a special interest in anterior segment surgery and uveitis.
Dr. Hemady completed subspecialty training in cornea and refractive surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He has presented at national and international scientific meetings and has published articles, book chapters, and abstracts on ophthalmology topics, including laser vision correction. Dr. Hemady sees patients at locations in Baltimore and Owings Mills, Maryland.
