About Me
Dr. Natario Couser is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and clinical geneticist who provides care for patients of all ages, from infants to older adults. He is board-certified in both ophthalmology and clinical genetics, offering a unique combination of expertise for patients with inherited eye conditions. Dr.
With fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, Dr. Couser specializes in the management of eye misalignment in children and adults. His additional residency in clinical genetics allows him to integrate genetic testing and counseling into his practice, particularly for families affected by rare genetic eye disorders.
Dr. Couser’s research focuses on identifying and managing genetic eye diseases, and he has authored over 120 publications, including a textbook on ophthalmic genetic diseases. He is actively involved in clinical trials and serves on several national committees, ensuring his patients have access to the latest advancements in ophthalmic genetics and comprehensive eye care.
