Dr. Radha Sanka

Dr. R. Krishna Sanka is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care. He has a unique background, having studied electrical engineering and computer science at MIT before pursuing medicine at Duke University. His training includes an ophthalmology residency at Emory University and a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Illinois.

Dr. Sanka offers a wide range of advanced surgical treatments, including cataract surgery and refractive procedures such as iLASIK, PRK, and SMILE. He is proud to be the first ophthalmologist in southeastern Wisconsin to perform specialized corneal transplant surgeries like DSAEK and the first in Wisconsin and Illinois to perform SMILE vision correction. He is committed to staying at the forefront of technology to provide the best possible outcomes for his patients.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Sanka enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, exploring local cuisine, traveling, and participating in recreational sports. He remains a passionate fan of his hometown Baltimore sports teams.
