Meet Dr. Sarah Carballo

Dr. Sarah Carballo is a cataract and corneal surgeon and an assistant professor with Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. She cares for routine and complex cataracts and offers a full spectrum of corneal procedures, from endothelial keratoplasty to ocular surface reconstruction. Originally from Franklin, Wisconsin, Dr. Carballo graduated summa cum laude from Ripon College and earned her MD from Rosalind Franklin University/Chicago Medical School, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed ophthalmology residency at Rush University, serving as chief resident, and a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and anterior segment at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. Patients value her clear education about diagnoses and options and her collaborative, compassionate approach to care.
