About Me
Dr. Preeti Bansal is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Rady Children's Hospital, specializing in the eye care of infants, children, and adolescents. She has particular expertise in retinopathy of prematurity and pediatric cataracts, and she developed and directs the hospital's Retinopathy of Prematurity Screening and Treatment Program. This program serves 13 neonatal units across the region.
Dr. Bansal earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed her residency in ophthalmology at the same institution, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Duke University. Her practice encompasses a wide range of pediatric eye conditions, and she is committed to delivering compassionate, family-centered care.
