Dr. Peter Bealka

Dr. Peter Bealka is a Central Texas ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for adults. A Baylor University graduate and Texas A&M College of Medicine alum, he completed internship at Dell Medical Center in Austin and ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern, one of the nation’s busiest training programs. Patients know him for clear communication, a steady surgical hand, and a practical approach that pairs modern technology with thoughtful counseling.

Dr. Bealka offers a full spectrum of cataract and glaucoma treatments tailored to each person’s goals and lifestyle. He performs laser-assisted cataract surgery and uses advanced technology lenses to reduce dependence on glasses when appropriate. For glaucoma, he provides laser options as well as minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) designed to lower eye pressure with faster recovery. He also performs functional upper-eyelid blepharoplasty when excess skin impairs vision. Outside the clinic, he enjoys supporting Baylor athletics and spending time with his family.
