About Me
Dr. Paul W. Turgeon is a board-certified ophthalmologist and corneal specialist who serves as Medical Director for the Institute for Refractive & Intraocular Surgery Center. He focuses on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataracts, and complicated anterior segment conditions. Dr. Turgeon has pioneered advanced techniques in glaucoma, cataract, and implant surgery, and was the first surgeon in Ohio to perform Endothelial Keratoplasty, a preferred method of corneal transplant.
Recognized for his expertise, Dr. Turgeon has been voted among the country's Best Doctors and has presented at major ophthalmology conferences. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Turgeon is dedicated to providing each patient with exceptional, customized treatment and continues to advance vision correction methods.
