Meet Dr. Marc A. Jones

Dr. Marc Jones is a nationally recognized ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and cornea surgery. He has been recognized in Best Doctors in America and as a Cleveland Magazine Top Doctor, and has been selected by the National Institutes of Health to conduct clinical studies on corneal transplantation and other eye conditions.

Dr. Jones serves as Clinical Director at Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons and Chairman of Ophthalmology at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center. He has performed tens of thousands of cataract and LASIK procedures and is an innovator in advanced corneal transplant techniques, including DSAEK, DMEK, and DALK, which offer improved vision and faster recovery for patients.

Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from Yale University and completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. He is also an assistant clinical professor at The Ohio State University and an associate clinical professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
