Meet Dr. Marc Jones
About Me
Dr. Marc Jones is an ophthalmologist focusing on cataract and cornea surgery. He serves as Clinical Director at Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons and chairman of ophthalmology at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center. Dr. Jones has performed tens of thousands of cataract and LASIK procedures and is an innovator in corneal transplantation, including DSAEK, DMEK, and DALK.
Dr. Jones has been selected by the National Institutes of Health multiple times to conduct clinical studies on corneal transplantation and other eye conditions. Recognized in Best Doctors in America and as a Cleveland Magazine Top Doctor, he also lectures regionally and nationally on advanced surgical techniques.
Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from Yale University and completed his residency and fellowship in cornea and anterior segment surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. He is also an assistant clinical professor at The Ohio State University and an associate clinical professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
