About Me
Dr. Paul M. Tesser is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of complex glaucoma, cataracts, and related eye conditions. With over twenty-five years of clinical experience in St. Louis, he has dedicated his practice to providing advanced care for patients with glaucoma.
His surgical expertise includes a full range of glaucoma procedures, such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), glaucoma drainage implants, and laser surgery. He also performs complex cataract surgery, including laser-assisted cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implants. Dr. Tesser focuses on tailoring treatment plans to each patient's specific needs to optimize visual outcomes.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Tesser is an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Washington University, where he remains active in teaching residents and medical students. He continues to contribute to ophthalmic research, investigating the relationship between myopia, visual field loss, and glaucoma.
