Dr. Patrick Chin

Dr. Patrick Chin is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 25 years of experience providing specialized eye care in cataract, cornea, and LASIK surgery at Westwood Ophthalmology. He treats a wide range of vision conditions using advanced surgical techniques, including cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, LASIK and PRK for refractive errors, EVO ICL for higher prescriptions, and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures. Dr. Chin also offers dropless cataract surgery and the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) for customized vision correction after cataract surgery.

Dr. Chin pursued advanced fellowship training in cataract and refractive surgery and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU Medical Center, where he taught complex surgical techniques to residents and fellows. He has authored peer-reviewed research on cataract surgery techniques and laser vision correction, and served as principal investigator for a clinical trial of the iDose TR glaucoma implant. Dr. Chin is dedicated to restoring and protecting vision for his patients.
