About Me
Dr. Patrick J. Kelty is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the retina and vitreous as well as cataracts. He diagnoses and manages a wide range of retinal conditions, including diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinal blood vessel disorders, intraocular tumors, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. For patients with cataracts, he offers traditional small incision surgery, laser refractive cataract surgery to reduce dependency on glasses, and complex cataract procedures. He also performs repair or exchange of intraocular lenses when needed due to complications or lens dislocation.
Dr. Kelty is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and completed advanced fellowship training in retina at the University of South Florida. He is affiliated with Catawba Valley Medical Center and holds memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
