About Me
Dr. Kenneth Bonfield is a retina and vitreous subspecialist at Morganton Eye Physicians, where he focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of retinal and vitreous disorders. He is dedicated to managing conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases.
Dr. Bonfield earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Downstate Medical Center in New York. He then pursued a two-year fellowship in retina at McPherson Associates, a leading retina specialty practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Since joining Morganton Eye Physicians in 1994, he has been committed to providing advanced care for patients with complex retinal conditions.
