Dr. Stephen Scott

Dr. Stephen Scott is a retina and vitreous subspecialist at Morganton Eye Physicians, providing comprehensive eye care and treatment of eye diseases. He specializes in conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, including ocular trauma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. Dr. Scott also offers comprehensive eye care for a wide range of vision concerns.

He earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and completed an internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and ocular trauma with Retina Specialists of Birmingham.

Dr. Scott is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is dedicated to providing the highest standards of patient welfare, service, and surgical expertise.
