Dr. Patrick Le

Patrick Le, MD is an ophthalmologist at Cape Fear Eye Associates, where he focuses on complex anterior segment surgery. He is currently completing his ophthalmology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, where he serves as chief resident. His surgical interests include advanced techniques in cataract and corneal surgery.

Dr. Le earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology with Departmental Honors, Magna cum laude, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research has been recognized with several awards, including the Frederick Stocker Research Award and the Howard Holderness Distinguished Medical Scholar award.

He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Le is committed to providing comprehensive eye care and contributing to the field through ongoing research and education.
