About Me
Dr. Parisa Farhi is a fellowship-trained and board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and anterior segment conditions. She treats a comprehensive range of eye problems including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eyes, red eyes, floaters, flashes, irritated or painful eyes, pediatric eye diseases, contact lens related problems, eyelid lesions, corneal problems, and neuro-ophthalmological issues. As the only glaucoma and anterior segment subspecialist in the New River Valley, she offers advanced surgical techniques for glaucoma, cataract, and iris procedures.
Dr. Farhi is known for providing thorough and compassionate care to her patients. She completed her glaucoma and anterior segment fellowship at the Moran Eye Center and her ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she also earned her medical degree. Prior to establishing her practice in Blacksburg, she was a partner in a respected ophthalmology group in Pittsburgh.
