About Me
Dr. Param Bhatter is a physician at West Coast Retina, where he focuses on conditions of the retina and vitreous. He is currently completing his ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute, where he also serves as a Co-Chief Resident. Dr. Bhatter earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his undergraduate degree in bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego, graduating cum laude.
His clinical and research interests include diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, diabetic macular edema, uveitis, ocular sarcoidosis, and neovascular glaucoma. He has been involved in numerous research studies and has published and presented on these topics at national and international conferences.
Dr. Bhatter has received several awards and honors, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Ohio Ophthalmologic Society Scholarship. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive retina care and contributing to advancements in the field through research and education.
