About Me
Dr. Pamela Sherwood is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical care of the cornea, cataracts, and external diseases. She partners closely with patients to build a tailored plan—whether that means optimizing the ocular surface, choosing the right timing for cataract surgery, or selecting advanced lens options to meet lifestyle goals. Her approach is warm, thorough, and focused on long-term visual quality.
Dr. Sherwood graduated with Honors from Stanford University and earned her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she received the Dublin Prize in Ophthalmology and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed internship at Lincoln Hospital, ophthalmology residency at New York University, and fellowship training in cornea, external disease, cataract, and refractive surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Center. She serves on hospital faculty and mentors residents in cornea and cataract surgery.
