About Me
Dr. Nikolas Raufi is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, laser, refractive, and glaucoma surgery. A native of Rhode Island, he completed his medical training at Albany Medical College, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Duke University and a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Raufi has subspecialty training in corneal diseases and laser corrective surgery, including LASIK, PRK, and laser-assisted cataract surgery. He is experienced in treating mild to moderate glaucoma using minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to simultaneously address cataract and glaucoma. He has extensive experience with various advanced cataract surgery lenses, including multifocal, extended depth of focus, toric, and monofocal lenses. Dr. Raufi is particularly interested in the refractive outcomes of his patients and has led research publications assessing surgical outcomes.
