About Me
Dr. Nicole Rochelle Benitah is an ophthalmologist specializing in vitreo-retinal conditions, ocular immunology, and uveitis. She is glad to be part of Kaiser Permanente and looks forward to working with patients to care for their health. Dr. Benitah grew up in Phoenix, San Diego, and Denver before returning to California for her undergraduate and medical school education at UC San Francisco. She then spent four years in Boston for her residency and fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, enduring the winters before returning to California to be closer to family.
As a specialist in ocular immunology and uveitis, Dr. Benitah helps patients manage infectious and inflammatory eye conditions to prevent vision loss. She also sees patients for a variety of medical and surgical eye problems, such as cataracts and glaucoma, as part of her comprehensive ophthalmology practice. Her philosophy is to treat every patient as she would a member of her own family.
In her spare time, Dr. Benitah enjoys taking advantage of the Southern California weather by riding her bicycle and walking by the ocean. She also likes reading, cooking, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
