About Me
Dr. Nicholas Hadjokas is a cornea and anterior segment specialist at Wills Eye who cares for adults needing both routine and complex eye surgery. He offers full-scope cataract care—from straightforward cases to dense or post-trauma lenses—and helps patients choose advanced technology intraocular lenses to match their visual goals. His surgical interests include endothelial and full-thickness corneal transplantation, secondary lens fixation when a standard implant isn’t possible, and laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK) for appropriate candidates. He also performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) when treating coexisting cataract and glaucoma.
Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hadjokas completed ophthalmology residency at SUNY Upstate and returned to Philadelphia for fellowship training in cornea and external disease at Wills Eye, where he now serves on the Cornea Service. Patients value his clear explanations and collaborative style; he enjoys teaching residents and staying current with evolving technology so each person can make a confident, individualized decision about their care.
