About Me
Dr. Nathan Cutler is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical care of retinal disease. He evaluates and treats a wide range of vitreoretinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, retinal vein occlusions, vitreous hemorrhage, epiretinal membrane, and uveitis.
Dr. Cutler received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, completed ophthalmology residency training at Wills Eye Hospital, and then completed a vitreoretinal surgical fellowship at the Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. He participates in clinical trials involving retinal disease and has authored peer-reviewed scientific papers and textbook chapters, in addition to presenting research at national ophthalmology meetings. Patients can expect a thorough, evidence-based approach with careful attention to explaining findings and next steps.
