About Me
Dr. Randee Watson is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist who diagnoses and treats medical and surgical retinal diseases. She uses up-to-date techniques to care for conditions such as diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions, retinal detachments, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. Her goal is to protect vision and help patients understand their condition and treatment plan, whether that involves careful monitoring, office-based procedures, or retinal surgery.
Dr. Watson earned her biology degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received her medical degree from Wayne State University, where she was recognized by the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed ophthalmology residency training and a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
