Dr. Michele Scott

Dr. Michele Scott is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist at Eastern Carolina Glaucoma & Vision Center in New Bern, North Carolina. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Scott completed her ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Scott moved to New Bern in 2009 and has been in private practice for over 14 years. In 2024, she opened Eastern Carolina Glaucoma & Vision Center, where her clinical practice focuses on the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and incision cataract surgery. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Glaucoma Society.
