Dr. Michael Offutt

Dr. Michael Offutt is a board-certified ophthalmologist fellowship-trained in glaucoma. He provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on medical, laser, and surgical treatments for glaucoma, along with state-of-the-art cataract surgery. Dr. Offutt takes time to explain choices—from drops and laser therapy to MIGS and tube shunt procedures—so patients can select the approach that fits their lifestyle and vision goals.

A San Antonio native, Dr. Offutt completed his MD and ophthalmology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary (University of Illinois Chicago). He has participated in hundreds of glaucoma procedures and enjoys educating patients on long-term eye health and prevention.
