Dr. Michael Magee

Dr. Michael Magee is a leading retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon serving Tennessee and South Virginia. He provides expert care for a wide range of retinal conditions and complex retinal diseases, including medical and surgical management. Dr. Magee is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He sees patients at Southeastern Retina Associates locations in Kingsport, Johnson City, Bristol, and Abingdon.

Dr. Magee completed his medical degree at James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He then pursued an internship and ophthalmology residency at Scott and White Eye Institute, Texas A&M University Health Science Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Magee is excited to return to the Tri-Cities area to provide specialized retinal care to the community.
