Dr. Melissa Bohonos

Dr. Melissa Ajunwa Bohonos is an ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma, providing comprehensive eye care with clinical experience since 2010. She manages a wide range of ocular conditions both medically and surgically, with a special focus on glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Bohonos is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, Ophthalmic Women Leaders, and the Institute for Functional Medicine.

In addition to traditional ophthalmology, Dr. Bohonos has training in functional medicine and nutrition counseling, allowing her to offer holistic therapies such as scientifically reviewed eye vitamins and lifestyle modifications.
