Dr. Meghal Gagrani

Dr. Meghal Gagrani is a pediatric ophthalmologist at the UPMC Vision Institute, caring for children across Lawrenceville, Bridgeville, and Wexford. She treats common and complex conditions that affect children’s vision and eye movement, and she works closely with families to create a plan that fits each child’s needs and routines. Her visits are kid-friendly and thorough, with clear guidance for home care and follow-up.

Dr. Gagrani completed medical school and ophthalmology residency at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. She then moved to the United States for a research fellowship and a clinical glaucoma fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. At UPMC/University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, she completed fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology. She has a special interest in pediatric glaucoma and is dedicated to helping children see comfortably and develop strong visual skills.
