Dr. Matthew Fry

Dr. Rohan Jalalizadeh is a vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for patients with a wide range of retinal disorders, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retinal detachment. He is passionate about advancing eye care through clinical research and has authored peer-reviewed publications, edited academic texts, and presented his work at national retina meetings. At Retinal Consultants of Arizona, he also serves as a sub-investigator on clinical trials for conditions such as AMD and diabetic macular edema, helping bring new therapies to patients. Dr. Jalalizadeh graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis (2012), completed medical school at Washington University (2016), and an internship at Saint Louis University. He trained in ophthalmology at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center and completed a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at The Retina Institute in St. Louis. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is active in the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Ibrahim Sayed-Ahmed is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. He sees patients for advanced corneal conditions, ocular surface tumors, and vision correction, offering a thoughtful, step-by-step approach that prioritizes safety and clarity at every visit. Patients can expect detailed explanations, careful surgical planning, and a commitment to long-term eye health. Dr. Sayed-Ahmed earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Alexandria University with honors, completed residency at Baylor College of Medicine, and pursued a clinical fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He also completed a master’s degree in Vision Science and Investigational Ophthalmology at the University of Miami. In clinic, he partners closely with referring doctors and uses modern diagnostics and techniques to restore comfort and vision for a wide range of corneal and refractive problems.

Dr. David Camejo is an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery. He cares for patients with retinal diseases using both office-based treatments and surgical options, and he has a special interest in participating in clinical trials and research that advances retina care. Dr. Camejo completed undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He then completed both his internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville. He pursued fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery with Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. His clinical interests include macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, and other retinal diseases and treatments, with a focus on protecting vision and supporting patients through long-term care.
