About Me
Dr. Matthew Citron is an ophthalmologist and surgeon who specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and cataracts. He provides his patients with respectful, outstanding care and takes time to thoroughly explain conditions and treatment options. Dr. Citron is a proud member of the Glaucoma Center of Michigan team.
With advanced fellowship training in glaucoma and cataract surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute, Dr. Citron has dedicated thousands of hours to resident education. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and has held leadership roles in residency programs. He is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Citron treats a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, and related vision issues. He offers both medical and surgical treatments, including cataract surgery and advanced glaucoma procedures. Patients appreciate his compassionate approach and thorough communication.
