About Me
Mark P. Breazzano, MD is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for patients with diseases of the retina, macula, and vitreous. He specializes in both medical and surgical management of retinal conditions, and he is involved in clinical research designed to improve outcomes and safety for patients with complex eye disease.
Dr. Breazzano completed retina and vitreous surgery fellowship training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, after earning his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine. In addition to patient care, he has published extensively and has been recognized for mentorship and contributions within retina and academic ophthalmology. He works closely with patients to explain diagnoses clearly, review treatment options, and tailor a plan that fits each person’s vision goals and overall health.
