About Me
Dr. Jared Ebert is a Medical and Surgical Retina Specialist who joined Retina Associates of Western NY in October 2025. An Ohio native, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed his residency training at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he received the Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education. He further specialized with a two-year surgical retina fellowship in Washington, D.C., working with the Retina Group of Washington and Georgetown University.
Dr. Ebert is an active fellow and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He is actively engaged in clinical and scientific research, contributing to peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and educational presentations. His expertise focuses on medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous, including conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, complex retinal detachment, macular pucker, macular hole, retinal vascular diseases, and secondary lens techniques.
He holds privileges at The Brighton Surgery Center, Unity Hospital, and Rochester General Hospital in the Rochester area. Dr. Ebert looks forward to participating in RAWNY’s robust clinical research program and is dedicated to the practice’s mission of preserving and restoring sight with compassion and innovation.
