Dr. Mark Hill

Dr. Mark Hill is a board-certified ophthalmologist who grew up in northern Utah and returned to his hometown of Layton to practice. He completed his surgical ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University in 2015, following his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. Before joining Insight Eye Specialists, Dr. Hill practiced in the Reno, Carson City, and Lake Tahoe region of Northern Nevada.

Dr. Hill specializes in comprehensive eye care, providing a wide range of surgical and medical treatments. His expertise includes cataract surgery, glaucoma management, LASIK, and procedures for conditions like dry eyes, pterygium, and eyelid disorders. He also treats retinal diseases such as macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease, offering both surgical and non-surgical management options.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Hill enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. As Layton natives, the family enjoys outdoor activities together, including baseball, skiing, and snowboarding.
