Dr. Jared Peterson

Jared D. Peterson, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing comprehensive eye care at Mountain View Eye Center since 2014. He specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical eye conditions, with a focus on surgical procedures and laser treatments.

Dr. Peterson completed his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Institute and is trained in advanced techniques including cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, intravitreal injections, and eyelid lesion removals. He is dedicated to building strong patient relationships and takes a personalized approach to each individual's eye health needs.

Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Peterson is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Utah Ophthalmology Society. Originally from Davis County, he enjoys spending his free time with his wife and their five children.
