About Me
Dr. Mark A. Rolain is a board-certified ophthalmologist at University Eye Care, P.C. He offers comprehensive eye care, treating conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. With advanced training in laser vision correction, Dr. Rolain performs LASIK, PRK, and Refractive Lensectomy to help patients achieve clearer vision. He serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital and Director of Refractive Surgery at Beaumont Eye Institute. Dr. Rolain is also a clinical professor and award-winning instructor, dedicated to educating the next generation of eye specialists.
Dr. Rolain completed his medical degree at Wayne State University, internal medicine training at the University of Minnesota, and an ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Prior to private practice, he was Division Head of Eye Care Services at Henry Ford Lakeside Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Patients receive personalized, comprehensive eye care at his practice in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
