About Me
Dr. Agatha Obertynski is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients with glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and macular degeneration. She has a particular passion for treating dry eye disease, offering advanced diagnostic and treatment methods to help patients find relief.
Dr. Obertynski earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine after completing her undergraduate pre-medical education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with high distinction. She completed her internship at St. John Hospital in Detroit and her ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute of the Detroit Medical Center. She currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and is on staff at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital.
Dr. Obertynski is a second-generation ophthalmologist who follows in the footsteps of her mother. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
