About Me
Dr. Maria Rosselson is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides advanced care for cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye conditions. She specializes in modern “no needle, no stitch” small incision cataract surgery, using femtosecond lasers and advanced-technology lens implants to help patients achieve clearer vision. For glaucoma, she offers laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), focusing on effective management with a gentle approach. Dr. Rosselson also performs functional eyelid repair and anterior segment procedures to address a range of eye health needs.
Dr. Rosselson is dedicated to patient education and staying current with the latest clinical trends. She is deeply involved in community outreach, volunteering at a monthly eye clinic for uninsured patients and teaching cataract surgery techniques to physicians in Vietnam. She is fluent in Russian and Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population.
An associate member of the clinical faculty at Rush University Medical Center, Dr. Rosselson remains active in several professional organizations. Her practice locations include Highland Park, Chicago, and Hoffman Estates, making care accessible throughout the region.
