About Me
Dr. Sid Moore is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist at the Eye Center of Central Georgia. He has been in practice at the Eye Center since 1989, specializing in cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology.
Dr. Sid Moore is a highly experienced cataract surgeon and is a dedicated advocate for his patients achieving the best possible vision. He was one of the first surgeons in the country selected to use the ReSTOR multifocal intraocular lens and has been implanting them since 2005. He also has years of experience correcting astigmatism at the time of cataract surgery with both Toric intraocular lenses and other procedures.
His skill, qualifications, commitment, and experience have earned him a unique reputation for excellence and service to his community. Dr. Moore is the Legislative Chair of both the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology and the Georgia Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and also holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine.
