Dr. Loan Ramsey

Dr. Loan Ramsey is a board-certified ophthalmologist and medical director with extensive experience in advanced cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma treatments. She has performed over 10,000 surgical procedures and is proficient in the latest technologies, including laser-assisted cataract surgery, premium IOLs, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Ramsey is also skilled in refractive procedures such as PRK and ICL, and was among the first in the nation to implant the Toric ICL.

Dr. Ramsey completed her medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Science Center and then pursued specialized training through an internship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation, a residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, and a glaucoma fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She has served as medical director at leading eye care centers and joined Swagel Wootton Eye Institute in 2019, where she continues to provide exceptional patient care.
