About Me
Dr. Andrew Rabinowitz is a nationally recognized ophthalmologist specializing in the medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma. With over 25 years of experience, he provides expert care for all stages of glaucoma, from diagnosis to advanced treatment. Dr. Rabinowitz is committed to patient-centered care and has been with Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center since 2000, where he focuses on ensuring clinical excellence.
He completed his medical degree at Hahnemann University Medical School and his ophthalmology residency at The George Washington University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Rabinowitz further honed his expertise through a glaucoma fellowship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City. His dedication to the field is reflected in his extensive publications and lectures across the country on glaucoma care.
Dr. Rabinowitz holds a leadership role as Senior Advisor Emeritus on American Vision Partners’ Medical Leadership team. He has received multiple honors, including being named a "Top Doc" by Phoenix Magazine, recognizing his commitment to exceptional patient care and clinical leadership.
