About Me
Dr. Leonard M. Bley is a board-certified ophthalmologist and refractive surgeon with over 35 years of clinical experience. He is the founder of NY LASIK and serves as Surgical Director of Laser & Microsurgery Institute, where he focuses on advanced vision correction procedures. Dr. Bley treats patients with cataracts, refractive errors including myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia, and dry eye. He also performs oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeries, such as eyelid surgery.
Dr. Bley earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed advanced training in ophthalmology and oculoplastics at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and New York University Hospital. His patient-centered approach combines state-of-the-art diagnostic technology with meticulous surgical technique to develop personalized treatment plans. Dr. Bley is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American College of Eye Surgeons.
