Dr. Lawrence Gans

Dr. Lawrence Gans is an eye surgery specialist with over 40 years of experience. His surgical expertise includes cataract and lens implant surgery, corneal transplantation, treatment of glaucoma, ocular tumors, and repair of trauma to the anterior segment of the eye. He has been a pioneer in procedures to restore quality vision and to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.

After completing a fellowship in Corneal and External Ocular Diseases at the Jules Stein Institute of UCLA, Dr. Gans returned to St. Louis, where he served on the teaching faculty at Washington University for 11 years and was appointed Chief of the University Eye Service. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
